Good morning. Between 1970 and 1999 the average American family has
received a 16 percent raise in income. We are better paid, better fed, and
better educated. Yet the divorce rate has doubled, teen suicide has trippled,
and depression has soared! Modern research has confirmed what one Roman
philsopher said two thousand years ago, “Money has yet to make anyone rich!”.

I learnt more about a famous MTV show-owner when in Canada. He has a very interesting life story and one of the things he does is sending emails of words of wisdom to the people on his email list every morning (considering that he has been a priest at one time in his life). This is how he is doing his share in making the world a better place. I have enrolled in his progam and I enjoy new thoughts whenever I check my email. But I won’t be able to use it free forever since there is some payments involved after a certain period of time. You can join his email list at RevsWordsOfWisdom

Good morning. In the beginning, God brought Adam every beast of the field
and told him to name them. After Adam named them, that was the name
thereof! Life brings us situations, sometimes, just to see what we will
name them. If something or someone lands on your plate that you dislike,
you have the power to name it good or bad. Lemons or lemonade. Roadblock
or stepping-stone….(Remember!) The power is in your hands! Rename some
people, places and things today!!!!

Persistence – Words of Wisdom – April 24th, 2007

Good morning. There is a story in the bible of an unjust king who said
no to EVERYTHING that was asked of him. There was a woman in town who
came to the palace gates EVERY day asking for what she wanted.. Finally
the unjust king screamed to his servants “Give this woman what she wants
lest she drives me crazzy”. (Here’s the point!) Persistence overcomes
resistance. God never denies a soul that travels as far as heaven to ask
for it .. Never give up!! If the back door is closed, try coming
through the side entrance!
